Supporters of Life Resources took part in the agency's
12th Annual Charity Golf Tournament in Indian Pond
Country Club, Kingston, MA on May 18, 2009, to
enjoy a round of golf and dinner, to honor its Board Co-Chair, John
Kennedy, and at the same time to offer hope to the most troubled kids
in our society.
John Kennedy, who has served on the board for eight years, was honored
at this event with Life Resource's first Dedicated Service to Children
Award. With the untimely passing of the President of Life Resources, William
Chiaradonna, in June 2008, Mr. Kennedy took the extraordinary step of
filling the position on an interim basis, providing the leadership the
organization needed during the difficult period of grief and transition.
Lynne Marie Bielecki, the new President of Life Resources, presented the award to John Kennedy recognizing him that he is a man who not only believes that no child should be without hope, but acts on that belief everyday. Ms. Bielecki also thanked the major sponsors that evening particularly John Hancock who has been supporting the golf tournament for the past four years and Linbeck for encouraging their staff and subcontractors to support the event.
Play gets underway at the 12th Annual Life Resources Charity Golf Tournament.
