Fund a Need
Many of the youth in the care of Life Resources have grown up in neglectful, abusive and otherwise harmful environments and do not realize that there is hope for a brighter future.
These young people, like all young people, face the significant challenges
of completing their education, securing a job, finding a home, and
successfully managing their affairs. The goal of Life Resources is to help
each youth in our program learn to become positive, caring and constructive
members of the community, and prepare and empower them for reintegration
into society with the "life resources" they need for a future
existence of self-sufficiency.
Your contribution brings hope to youths and families in despair. It helps youths walk away from gangs, drugs, violence and crime. It helps them find meaning and purpose in their lives. It shows them that someone cares.
If you are interested in supporting Life Resources, below are some suggested amounts as to what your contribution can support and how you can impact the life of a troubled youth.
NEW CLIENT WELCOME KIT — $50.00
Personal
hygiene items, tooth brush, tooth paste, comb, deodorant, soap, shampoo,
towels, sheets, bathrobe, undergarments, etc.
GRADUATION GIFT — $75.00
Upon graduation, each client receives a
bound journal to record and reflect on their time at Life Resources.
SCHOOL KIT — $100.00
Notebooks, calculator,
pencils/pens, dictionary, backpack, folders, rulers, etc.
CLASSROOM TEXTBOOKS — $250.00
This donation would allow each program
to purchase updated text editions of English, Math, Science and
History books.
ART THERAPY KIT — $500.00
Watercolor paint, paintbrushes, colored
pencils, white oil pastel, clay, graphite pencils, specialized
paper, and art journal
There are certain everyday items which are always needed at Life Resources to continue to provide a positive environment for the wellbeing of the youth in our care.
- Linens: Pillowcases, sheets, blankets and towels.
- Clothing: Bathrobes, pajamas, undergarments,
sweatpants/sweatshirts, slacks, jackets, hats and gloves.
(needed for both boys and girls)
