On Friday, August 14th, 2009, Life Resources celebrated its second annual Life Resources Day in honor of our past President, friend and mentor, Bill Chiaradonna. The event was held at the Bishop Ruocco House Treatment Center in Lakeville, MA. This celebration marked another year of providing quality programs and services to adolescents.
The event was attended by the residents of all three Life Resources locations,
board and staff members, as well as agency donors and representatives from
the Department of Youth Services.
The theme of LRI Day was spirited team competition, with all teams ultimately vying for the coveted “Festivus Cup.” Following the Challenge Course competition, a barbeque lunch was enjoyed by all attendees. The afternoon consisted of an award recognition ceremony. Award recipients included: Mayra Box from Bishop Ruocco House Treatment Center, Donna Johnson and Sandra Wigfall from Phaneuf Youth Treatment Center, Gwen Fadden and Rich Sawyer from Pilgrim Treatment Center, and Joyce Contrucci from Life Resources Central Office.
We would like to recognize and thank all of Life Resources Staff, board members, and volunteers for their hard work, dedication and commitment to our clients which made the second annual LRI day a great success, and with enthusiasm, we look forward to next year’s third annual Life Resources Day Celebration!
